The space Welcome to the Altes Kutscherhaus Brandenburg – country holiday with charm Immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature: Our lovingly renovated, historic coach house is located in the idyllic 48-soul village of Wulkow, nestled in the wide landscape of Brandenburg (Landkreis Ostprignitz-Ruppin). The cottage can accommodate up to 7 people and is the perfect retreat for families, groups of friends or relaxed bachelorette parties – dogs are also welcome! Pure quiet & nature: The house is set back from the street and surrounded by fields, forest and silence. Two picturesque lakes (upper and lower lake) can be reached in just about 10 minutes by car – ideal for swimming, paddling and relaxing. Our "water carriage" – the in-house rowboat on Lake Untersee for about 5 people – can be used free of charge during your stay. (If there are more people, the SUPs or the inflatable alpaca from the barn can be taken from the house :)) The charming island restaurant INSL Kyritz in the middle of the Untersee is a real highlight for excursions. Living Comfort & Entertainment: Inside, a mix of rustic charm and modern comfort awaits you: - Projector with access to Netflix & Amazon Prime Video - Library to browse - Record player with records for cozy evenings - The living room is heated with a fireplace – in winter, additional radiators and heating blankets in the bedrooms provide cozy warmth. Kitchen facilities: Seasoning Balsamic vinegar & rapeseed oil Sugar Cooking essentials Moccamaster filter coffee machine Tea, coffee & filters Oven Refrigerator including freezer Waffle iron & orange press Dishwasher First aid kit The garden as a summer paradise: In the barn you will find everything for a relaxing stay outdoors: - BBQ, loungers, hammock - Two stand-up paddle boards - Tabletop Games & Outdoor Toys - In the evening, the fire bowl provides bonfire romance – perfect for marshmallows or stock bread. Important: After 10pm, the volume in the garden must be throttled or gone into the house. For families & groups: We will be happy to provide you with a baby cot and high chair if needed. For special occasions such as quiet bachelorette parties, experience packages can be booked separately with external providers – just contact us! Animals on the property: Our cat (please do not let in the house) as well as four friendly sheep look forward to company. Discover & Experience: In addition to swimming, hiking and cycling, there are also excursions to the Therme Neuruppin, the Ritter Kahlbutz or small historic towns. Information on how to get there: - Directions from Berlin: approx. 1.5 hours - Directions from Hamburg: approx. 2 hours - Shopping: in Kyritz (about 12 min away) - A barrel sauna can be booked through an external provider if available - A bus runs occasionally, but not on weekends – we recommend traveling by car or bicycle for maximum flexibility. Guest access Guests will receive the key safe code before arrival and can check in flexibly at any time. Other things to note For guests who come with dogs: The garden is fenced, but dogs may be able to reach the sheep under or over the fence. If the dogs are the kind that would chase the sheep around the area, it must be ensured that this does not happen.
