On foot you can easily reach the first beach of the town (300 meters), the minimarkets, the shops and the typical Greek taverns passing through enchanting paths full of flowers and tranquility. The most famous beaches (Simos, Lefki, Saracinico and Panaghia) are in the south / south-west of the island about 4 km from the town.
