Welcome to the Jones Home BnB! This beautiful, family-friendly private basement suite is the perfect getaway for families, small groups or anyone looking for a cozy, restful stay. With 3 bedrooms including 1 king bed with a private ensuite, 1 queen bed, and a fun "bunk room" featuring 4 double beds, there’s plenty of space for up to 8 adults plus 4 kids to stay comfortably. Whether you're visiting family, attending local events or exploring southern Alberta, you’ll feel right at home. The space Our charming, red brick bungalow built in 1968 and nestled on a peaceful quarter-acre lot full of history, originally the site of the old Knight Academy. The property is surrounded by mature trees that offer both shade and charm, creating a quiet retreat in the heart of Raymond. <3 The suite has been fully renovated from top to bottom, featuring elegant modern finishes and appliances throughout. You’ll love the location. Just steps away from schools, the public pool, sports courts, churches, ice arenas, and even a Dairy Queen for a post-game treat. The golf course and Victoria Sports Park are right down the street, perfect if you're here for a tournament or just to play. Downtown is only two blocks away, an easy stroll to grab groceries at The Merc, enjoy a bite to eat, access the 'Suds' laundromat, or explore the library and local museum. Everything you need is just around the corner. The Jones Home has been in our family for 30 years, and we’re proud to share it with you. It’s more than just a place to stay; it’s a cozy, welcoming retreat where you can relax, explore, and feel truly at home. Guest access While staying with us, you’ll have complete privacy and exclusive access to the entire suite, located on the lower level of the home and accessed through the back door. You’ll have your own dedicated parking spot on the north driveway, plus plenty of street parking available. For your convenience, the suite features keyless entry. After booking, you’ll receive a code to access both the back door and the suite entrance. Please note that the suite is downstairs and accessed by stairs, so it is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We kindly ask you to take care when going up and down the stairs. There are no laundry facilities on site, but a local laundromat is just two blocks away for your convenience. Guests do not have access to the backyard, deck, or fire pit, as this is our primary residence. However, you’re welcome to enjoy the north side yard, which features a picnic table for guest use and outdoor relaxation. Other things to note Here are a few important details to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the suite. The suite is smoke-free, so please do not smoke inside or near the entrance. Check-in is after 4:00 pm and check-out is by 10:00 am unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am to respect our neighbors and maintain a peaceful environment. Located in a residential neighborhood, we kindly ask that you be mindful of noise. Amenities: We provide fresh linens, towels, and basic toiletries for your convenience. Complimentary coffee, tea, spices, dishes, pots, pans, cookware, a water dispenser in the fridge, and ice are all available for your use. WIFI is included, along with TVs in each room for your entertainment. For your safety, please exercise caution on the stairs leading to the suite. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket under the sink. Please use hot pads and avoid placing hot dishes directly on the counters. Cleaning: The suite is professionally cleaned with meticulous attention to detail between each stay. We take pride in ensuring your visit is comfortable and satisfying. If you need to clean up a small mess, there is a cleaning closet with supplies including a broom and mop, but we handle all the heavy cleaning. When you leave, please place dirty towels in the laundry baskets and leave sheets on the beds. There’s no need to strip the beds as we will take care of that for you. Before You Leave: Please ensure the dishwasher is loaded and turned on before you depart. Dishwasher tabs can be found under the sink. For longer stays, a black garbage bin outside the back door is available for excess trash disposal. Important Note: The home is older, so please do not flush anything besides toilet paper down the toilet. This includes, but is not limited to, feminine products (tampons, pads, etc.), paper towels, toys, or any other items.
