Mountain Shed

Our place is a cozy family-built cabin nestled in the woods with all the amenities for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Whether you're looking for relaxation or outdoor adventure, this location has it all. There is close access to a variety of outdoor activities including beautiful and maintained trails for hiking, mountain biking, ATV's and stunning lakes and creeks for fishing, swimming, canoeing, paddle boarding, etc. The space The property is an open concept, 2 bedroom home located on a 1.3 acre parcel of treed forest at the base of Coliseum Mountain. There is a gas furnace as well as a wood burning fireplace to keep you warm and cozy on cool days or nights. We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the major appliances as well as small including blender, waffle maker, crockpot, baking sheets, etc. Rather than a traditional BBQ, there is a Blackstone griddle available for you to experience. Guest access Guests have access to the entire main floor of the cabin. The crawl space is for utility access only. Other things to note The driveway is graveled, long and steep. An AWD or 4x4 vehicle is recommended in the winter. We ask that guests be conservative with water use as fresh water has to be trucked in and waste water hauled out. Please be aware you may encounter a variety of wildlife on or around the property. Garbage or food cannot be left out. A bear bin is provided. Nordegg is a quiet community. Please be respectful of the neighbors and quiet hours. No parties or unregistered guests.
