It sleeps 2 adults comfortably in the Queen bedroom with walk in wardrobe, ensuite with private balcony overlooking the lap pool. An intimate courtyard and river views and access to the pool and BBQ outdoor dining area, along with a dedicated garage with private access the Terrace Suite is a perfect getaway. The space Originally built by local businessman Angie Hall for his family in 1910, the stately Federation River House stood tall and generated a local presence over the years. Susan’s grandparents were foundational members of the Taylors Arm and Bowraville communities in the early 1900’s. At this time the Nambucca River was the life-source for the community with merchant and logging ships docking at the Macksville Wharf close to the River House. In 2018 David and Susan Cooper purchased the property and created a vision for a luxury guesthouse to honour the history, the heritage and spirit of the original home, while providing contemporary, boutique accommodation option in the Valley. The 1910 structure was full of embodied energy, so a renovation in 2025 to honour the history of the home was planned and the vision created. The River House features materials and colour schemes have been inspired by the Nambucca River. Unique, antique furniture sourced from local houses over many years by the previous owner have been lovingly restored and influence the interior design of the main house, while the two apartments feature complementary bespoke modern pieces. Guest access The Terrace Suite is a fully self contained apartment over 2 floors. It has its own private balcony overlooking the shared pool , BBQ outdoor dining patio and the Nambucca River. It has a Queen bedroom and contains a sofa bed in the living area, and with this in use, sleeps 4. A designated garage with a fully equipped EV charger and a shared laundry is also accessible.
