Our couples cabin in a small family owned campground called Newcomb Campground. Digital detox….wifi does not reach cabin. Walk to the town beach, Woodruff Pond and free boat launch on Lake Harris. Located in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. There a private bedroom with queen size bed and no other sleeping area so this charming cabin is suited for 1-2 people and your well behaved dog !! PS: we have ice $3.00 per bag and firewood $10.00 per bundle available and we can deliver to you. The space Located in a small, quiet, family owned campground. Walking distance to trails, beach, lake and boat launch. WiFi is available ONLY at the main building and is not accessible in the cabin. Close to great hiking in the High Peaks region. We are located near the old ghost town Tahawus which is at the entrance to the trailhead to Mt Marcy and Lake Henderson, an awesome place to paddle. Within a 10 mile radius you will find endless hiking trails, secluded lakes to travel and quiet road to bike. The closest store selling basic necessities, outdoor goods and food is Cloud-Splitter Outfitters 3 away and we do have an ice cream/breakfast/lunch shop 1/8th mile away called Newcomb Pine Cones. We have the only local 24/7 pay at the pump gas on site within 20 miles and full shopping is 15-20 minutes away !!!! Guest access Guests have access to the entire property. Other things to note 12x39 foot, 468 sq foot tiny home with everything you need EXCEPT a TV and wifi. You are coming to the ADK to digital detox and enjoy the outdoors not watch TV !!! Well behaved dogs are welcome, we just require a rabies certificate prior to checking in. There is a Verizon and ATT cell tower in town. WiFi is available however it may not reach the cabin…the best place to get free, no password wifi is down by the main building, you are welcome to sit on the deck. Kayaks are available for use.
