You are welcome to step into nature and relax to the sound of birdsong and the rustling of the trees. When you follow the path through the trees, two A-houses hide at the other end. The house is nestled at the edge of the forest, with a large terrace and sweeping views of the Öland landscape. Here you have the sky and the birds as your closest neighbor. Because the small forest is allowed to grow as it wishes, nature is wild and offers a rich biodiversity. The space Our two newly built A-frame houses are tucked away in the cozy village of Kleva, 500 meters from the sea and the beach. Kleva is located in the World Heritage area on the southwestern part of Öland, 15 km (9 miles) south of the Öland Bridge and 5 km (3 miles) north of the community of Mörbylånga. This listing is for House 2. The house is for two people and has a kitchen, fridge, and microwave, as well as tableware and everything you need to cook and feel comfortable. Also, WiFi, some books, board games and simple binoculars. The house includes a large terrace with unobstructed views of the countryside, as well as a barbecue. 1 parking space is included. The house is 25 square meters (269 square feet) in size and has a 180-cm bed. Guests share a common shower and toilet, located in a separate building between the houses. NOTE: The toilet is a modern, eco-friendly composting toilet. The house has a lovely jungle feel. Because the greenery hides the house among the trees, there is a distinct atmosphere of calm and relaxation for enjoying your morning coffee, reading a book, or simply taking in the view from the patio. It also makes them ideal for birdwatchers in spring and autumn. When large flocks of cranes and geese fill the sky and the fields in front of the houses, you can stay in bed and observe the majestic wildlife. Rental periods: May 16 – June 20 and August 22 – September 20: The house can be rented for a minimum of 3 nights. June 20 – August 22: Weekly rentals only, with changeover on Saturdays. Need to Know: The house is not rented out to partying young people. Cleaning and linens are not included. Check-out at 10:00 AM and check-in from 3:00 PM. On Södra Öland, there is plenty to see and do: The alvar, which lies one kilometer away and stretches for miles; the cozy village of Vickleby with Capellagården and its restaurants; the entire Swedish kite and surfing mecca of Sandbergen; the reconstructed ancient fort of Eketorp; our neighbor Kollberggården with its horseback riding camps and yoga retreats; the Beijershamn nature reserve with its bird sanctuary; Grönhögen with its 18-hole golf course and its water-filled limestone quarry where you can swim; the cozy village of Kastlösa with all its cafés; Eckelsudde with its seal colony; Ottenby with its majestic Långe Jan lighthouse; and so on… For those interested in history, there is a great variety of ancient forts and runestones. For those who just want to relax, there are miles of beaches. For nature enthusiasts, you only have to step out the door, as the house is located within the World Heritage Site “Södra Öland's Cultural Landscape with Crop Fields,” known for its unique flora and fauna. And, of course, amazing birdlife to observe in many places. Tip! Öland is flat and bike-friendly. Bike rental is available in Mörbylånga! Other things to note The house will not be rented out to partying young people. For everyone's peace of mind, the accommodation is intended for adults. Cleaning and linens are not included.
