Designed for a couple (sorry, we have no children's facilities) the room features a comfortable king-size bed, a private en-suite shower room, a handy kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster—ideal for preparing breakfast, light lunches or enjoying delicious local Cumbrian produce after a day on the fells. Please note there is no oven or hob. Wake up to peaceful fell views, birdsong and life on a traditional family-run sheep farm. On arrival you'll find homemade cake and fresh milk waiting for you, while complimentary bags of corn let you meet and feed our friendly free-range hens—a favourite with many of our guests. Step straight from the farmhouse onto some of the Lake District's best Wainwright walks, including Carrock Fell, High Pike, Calva, Bowscale Fell and the mighty Blencathra. Cool off with a wild swim in beautiful Bowscale Tarn, explore quiet country lanes by bike, or simply enjoy the tranquillity and dark skies that make this hidden corner of Cumbria so special. As evening falls, hire our firepit, relax under a blanket of stars and soak up the peace and quiet far from busy tourist hotspots. A well-stocked local farm shop is just 7 miles away, perfect for picking up local treats and picnic supplies. Other things to note A Breakfast Hamper can be purchased (£15) from JoAnne, which will be delivered in the morning & left outside your door with breakfast treats, including homemade bread, drop scones & hard-boiled eggs from our own hens in the field. Birthday surprise package. Simple but delicious homemade Victoria sponge cake in a gift box, Happy Birthday bunting decorating your accommodation & a small posy of garden flowers. £15. Sorry, NOT ALLERGY FREE. A campfire is also available to hire. £10 for logs, cooking utensils & fire started for you. Please note there is only one campfire, so it is sold on a first-come, first served basis. Basecamp North Farmshop only 7 miles away. Early check-in from 2 pm - £20 This Room is suitable for Couples.
