Villa Marina was finished in 2014, and during its construction attention was given to every single detail. In order to preserve the natural setting and provide guests with the ultimate island experience, the villa was carefully placed among centennial olive and fig trees which now offer natural shade on those hot summer days. It is precisely this combination of old and new which makes villa Marina an exceptional place to spend your next holidays. While resting in the swimming pool area, guests can refresh themselves with organic figs at hand’s reach, and from the olive trees you are surrounded by the owners produce extra-virgin cold-pressed olive oil which you will get to enjoy as well. From practically every point in and outside of the house, there are unobstructed views of the Adriatic Sea, reaching across to the island of Hvar and the Pelješac peninsula. Just underneath the house, there is a pier with reclining chairs, and the large beach in the centre of Prigradica is only several minutes away on foot. Each of the three bedrooms on the second floor has a king-size bed and its own private balcony. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, and there is an additional bathroom on that floor. The fourth bedroom on the first floor is equipped with two single beds. The spacious living and dining areas, together with another bathroom and a guest toilet, are located on the first floor. Additionally, on the ground floor next to the swimming pool you will find a konoba, which is a traditional space for storing wine, olive oil and produce, however with a modern twist of a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and an extra toilet. Apart from the trees surrounding the premises, two patios are located on the ground and first floors, and three balconies on the second floor. On one side of villa, there is a traditional barbecue grill, and there are several areas with some authentic herbs and plants which provide a wonderful scent associated only with a genuine Mediterranean site. For guests who arrive at the island of Korčula without a vehicle, transfer can be organised from the port of entry to Villa Marina, and vice versa. Rent-a-car services can be arranged as well. Villa Marina is located in the old fishing port of Prigradica on the northern shore of the island of Korčula. If you are looking to utterly unwind, Prigradica in which the villa is located offers everything necessary for a pleasant stay. This quiet port has a grocery store, two restaurants and a beach bar. Prigradica is connected to all major towns on the island by roads of very good quality, with only 4 kilometres to the town of Blato, 10 kilometres to the town of Vela Luka, and 30 kilometres to the town of Korčula. Prigradica is reachable directly from the city of Split by a catamaran line (passenger only) once daily during the summer. The island of Korčula can be reached by ferries arriving to Vela Luka and Dominče, located a couple of kilometres from the town of Korčula. The coastal cities connected with Korčula by ferry are Rijeka, Split, Drvenik (area of Makarska) and Dubrovnik. The nearest international airport is located some 20 kilometres from the port of Split.
