Chez Jacky House (Bethmale)

Ayet is a charming little village in the municipality of Bethmale, nestled in the slopes of the Ariège mountains. This place is ideal for enjoying the calm of nature or various outdoor activities to spend a beautiful rejuvenating vacation. Chez Jacky is a house of about 70 m² organized on three levels. The space On the ground floor is the living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a table and chairs as well as a seating area organized around the wood-burning stove. In the kitchen you will find: - a 3-burner induction hob and its pots. - washing machine. - a dishwasher. - a fridge and a small freezer. - an electric oven. - a "breakfast" cabinet with a Senseo coffee maker, toaster, kettle and microwave. - a table and four chairs. - all the necessary dishes and dishes. Past the first staircase, you will arrive in a first spacious room including: - a 140 x 190 bed. - a dresser. - a wardrobe/closet. - an armchair. Curtains can be drawn to ensure more privacy from other people in the accommodation. The bathroom shares this first space. It has been completely refurbished. It includes a shower, toilet and sink and its furniture. A hairdryer is available. Going up the second staircase, you will arrive on the second floor consisting exclusively of a bedroom with a 140 x 190 bed. A shelf and an armchair complete the set. Each window is equipped with a shutter or blackout curtain, as well as mosquito nets to ensure peaceful nights. Each window also offers a unique view of the mountain. The accommodation also includes a small terrace fully equipped with two garden tables, four chairs, an umbrella and a barbecue. The accommodation does not have a TV but has fiber, so you can have access to your favorite shows from your own screens. The accommodation is non-smoking inside. Pets may be accepted provided you inform us a little before booking. It is possible to unload your vehicle near the accommodation, but the many free parking spaces will be a little further away. On the catering and food side, you will find two restaurants as well as an artisanal ice cream factory in the Bethmale valley, local shops about ten minutes away by car as well as all supermarkets twenty-five minutes away. Three local markets are held weekly, including the renowned Saint-Girons market on Saturday mornings and the picturesque Engomer market on Sunday mornings. On the leisure side, there is no shortage of activities. Of course, the beautiful Lake Bethmale is accessible either by car (about 10 minutes) or on foot with an hour and a half walk. You can also take advantage of many other places to walk, hike, (the GR10 is nearby), fish, pedal... An electric bike rental will allow you to discover nature in a new way. Finally, in the village, there is a petanque court, a ping pong table, a small cage and a playground for the little ones. A little further, many other activities await you, the visit of the sabotier, many Romanesque churches, caves, parks... Possibility to rent sets of sheets as well as towels. 12 euros for the complete set for one bed: fitted sheet, duvet cover and pillowcases. 5 euros for a set of towels: hand towel and bath towel. The cleaning can be done by us for an amount of 50 euros. Guest access You rent the entire property. Other things to note For parents of young children, we can lend you a travel cot (without mattress topper) and a baby bath. This will allow you to make some room in the car!
