Construction of our home was completed in June of 2017. It includes a guest loft over the garage (675 sq. feet). Our adult property overlooks the bay of Green Bay and you can walk to everything in Egg Harbor, restaurants, shops, park/harbor, and grocery. Granite counter tops in the kitchen and bath. All new appliances, full kitchen. A queen size bed and a very comfortable mattress. Hardwood floors throughout this charming space. Barn doors separate the bedroom from the living room. The loft overlooks Green Bay to the west and Egg Harbor to the east. A full-size washer and dryer is provided. Cable and WiFi are included too. A private entrance with stairs provides access to the loft apartment. We also have outside space just for you! We can provide lots of information about restaurants, fun places to see and much more! There are many wineries in the area along with wonderful music and theater venues. Art galleries and a wide range of specialty and retail shops offer much to do everyday. Shopping is a must in Door County! Surrounded by water, the county offers many opportunities to experience the bay of Green Bay and Lake Michigan. There are several beautiful state and county parks to hike, bike and and enjoy. Spend a day or two visiting Door County's many famous light houses. Golfers will enjoy the golf courses throughout the county. Did you know that 90% of Door County belongs to agriculture and forestry which makes it a very special place in Wisconsin. The loft is in the Village of Egg Harbor. The Village has 203 residents and is located on the bay of Green Bay with a lovely harbor. The Village hosts many events throughout the summer. Free concerts are offered Sunday evenings in the park throughout the season. The many shops and restaurants offer delightful experiences throughout Egg Harbor. The first weekend of October is the Village's biggest event, Pumpkin Patch. It is a weekend party celebrating everything Halloween and Door County. The Door County Trolley is a fun experience for anyone visiting Door County. It offers a variety of tours and fun packages. It is located in Egg Harbor approximately 1/2 mile from our home. Uber and Lyft are also available for visitors. If you decide to rent the loft, the Door County Room Tax is included in your nightly rate. If you love Cape Cod, you'll love Door County. It is a charming area with many villages. Once you go through Sturgeon Bay, you will not see a stop light anywhere throughout the county. A special treat is the outdoor movie theater which is a fun experience. Please come visit Door County! The Village of Egg Harbor has EV chargers at the Kress Center which is 1.5 blocks from our loft.
