The space This eco-friendly wooden cabin is a bespoke design. Built with Eco friendly principles in mind. It sits nestled in its own area that is separated from the main dwelling onsite. Parking area is shared. A small entrance area leads into a kitchenette & separate sitting & dinning area. The bathroom comprises of a toilet & shower. The large windows make guests feel as if the outside meshes with the inside area. Similarly the outside covered deck area extends the length of the cabin & allows BBQ use. The green areas have been re-wilded for bio-diversity & cut areas provide space for outdoor seating in sunny areas & use of fire pit. Cushions, rugs, blankets provided! Guest access Private 0.5 acre space available for use with outdoor seating, fire pit, covered veranda & BBQ. The rest of the garden, small pond, vegetable garden & fruit garden may be accessed freely. Guests are welcome to make use of seasonal veg, carrots, courgette, salad leaves, herbs etc. Other things to note This is an eco-friendly space. It is small, imperfect & designed for minimal impact on the environment. Where possible we have used recycled materials. It is perfect for any traveller but especially for those who like to minimise their ecological footprint! It is a lovely space at anytime of the year but in particular in Summer when everything is in bloom. Its design compliments a feeling of melting the inner & outer worlds with a blend of indoor & outdoor living. Minimal indoor cooking facilities are available. Fridge, Airfryer, toaster, kettle. For use in Summer time there is a Gas BBQ which is very simple & efficient to use for breakfasts & dinners. Feel free to wander the front & back garden area & keep an eye & ear out for nesting blackbirds, hovering red kites (reintroduced to Co. Wicklow 2007), humming bees & red admiral butterflies. Please feel free to ask for local information on food, pubs, trails, nature etc. There are 2 other properties on this 2 acre site & therefore some traffic noise at times.
