Our beautiful period cottage is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Welton, East Yorkshire. This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Hull, Beverly, historical York or exploring the vast Yorkshire Wolds. The beautiful Yorkshire coast is within an hour and a half’s drive. Filey, Bridlington, Whitby all fantastic seaside towns to explore. We have lovingly restored the cottage to the highest standards and hope you appreciate the beautiful items we have chosen. The space Stay at this newly renovated period style cottage in the heart of Welton. Surrounded by Yorkshire Wolds Way trails. With a local pub and cafe on your doorstep and more cafes, country pubs and supermarkets only 3/4 of a mile away. For a more fine dining experience there are restaurants in the local area that the host will recommend. Brough train station is also only a 5 minute car journey away. Visit Hull, historical York and historical Beverley in a short car journey. The Space Sitting Room - This lovely light filled room is furnished in bright jewelled colours and comfortably seats 4 adults. It's the perfect spot to read a book or catch up on Netflix on the fire tv. Kitchen/Dining Room - The bright, fully equipped kitchen seats 4 adults at the table. There is a large fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. The downstairs WC is also connected to this area. Bedroom 1 - Comprises of a large comfortable super king bed with bedside tables overlooking the pretty village. There is a french style dressing table, hairdryer and lots of hanging and storage space. Bedroom 2 - Comprises of an attractive double bed with a built in closet with plenty of storage for cases and hanging space. Bathroom - The newly refurbished bathroom provides a large walk in shower, toilet and mirrored vanity unit. The bathroom can be accessed via both bedrooms. Our cottage has been totally refurbished and everything has been thoughtfully sourced for our guests. Outside area - A pretty gravelled area with a table and seating for 4 to the side and seating at the front catching both the morning and evening sun. The perfect spot to sit and eat dinner or enjoy a glass of something refreshing. The picturesque village pub across the street dates back to the days of Dick Turpin who is rumoured to have been in hiding back in the day before being captured and sent to York dungeons! We hope you enjoy your stay in the beautiful village of Welton. Guest access The whole house and garden is yours, with free parking. The keys are available to collect from the lock box at the door after being given the code. Other things to note All bedlinen and towels will be provided. Smoking is not permitted. Unfortunately, we have a no pets allowed policy.
