The Dairyground is our 4-bedroom home over 3 floors in the ironstone village of Shutford, with a top-floor king bedroom under vaulted beams and far-reaching field views, suiting larger families and corporate groups. The beamed living room has a wood-burner and Smart TV, with a Shaker kitchen leading through to a conservatory dining space onto the garden. Up the original wood staircase, the top-floor king bedroom rests under vaulted beams with an open ensuite and skylights framing the fields beyond. Two bathrooms serve the house, one with an over-bath shower and the other a mosaic-tiled walk-in shower, and a washing machine and tumble dryer are on hand for longer stays. A private driveway takes two cars, with room for a third in front of the property. The George & Dragon, a 13th-century pub with five real ales, sits a 4-minute walk away. Other things to note The top floor is reached by a steep staircase, so it will suit adults better than young children. Ceiling height is lower in parts under the eaves, so do mind your head. The village is quiet, and noise carries in the evenings, so neighbourly consideration will be appreciated. Important Information: • The nightly rate includes 6 guests. If you're a party of 8, there's an additional fee of £30 per night, per guest. • Guests are not required to pay a security deposit for this stay.
