It is about 10-12 min walk through the forest to Tangen outdoor area, with a small sandy beach, swimming jetty, and swimming raft, grassland, etc. There is a toilet there. You can drive there, but there is no possibility of parking there, so the driver has to drive back to the house, and walk from there. It is about 12-15 min walk to Mule Varde bathing area with two small sandy beaches, bathing jetty, and grassland. Parking about 2-300m from the swimming area. Touring area with part of the Coastal Trail to Brevik, starting in the marina, Dammane tour area in Brevik, Frierstien, Kotøya, Ureddløypa, Brattås, and Preståsen. It is 450 meters to walk to Skjelsvik junction, with bus connection to Oslo, Kristiansand, Stavanger, and local routes to Porsgrunn, Skien, and Langesund. It is also 450 m to walk to SPAR Skjelsvik, grocery store. It is 3.1 km to Heistad city center with KIWI, REMA 1000, Pharmacy, Pub, sushi restaurant etc. It is about 8 km to Porsgrunn city center, where you can see the porcelain museum, and the sale, or the maritime museum.
