Car: Free parking in front of the house The location: Our studio is located in a small Alsatian village. It is in a central location, and from us you can reach: Strasbourg in about 40 minutes Hagenau in about 30 minutes Wissembourg 20 minutes The nearest large shopping facility is in Seltz "Super U Supermarket", about 10 minutes away. In Seltz there is also a train station with free parking. The nearest boulangerie is located in the neighboring village, about 4 km from the studio. The Style Outlet Roppenheim is 13 km away and can also be easily reached by bike along the Paminaweg. Baden-Baden in about 20 minutes may be interested in the Frieder Burda Museum or the Fabergé Museum. Both extraordinary places for those interested in art. Rastatt in about 20 minutes From Seltz there is a free car ferry that shorts the way to Rastatt and takes you across the Rhine within a few minutes. By the way, there is a very good ice cream parlor directly after the ferry in Plittersdorf. Mostly by recognizing that people are standing all the way to the street;) Karlsruhe is about 35 minutes away. The Karlsruhe Castle and associated with the fan-shaped arrangement of the city is exceptional. The marketplace with a pyramid is also at least unusual for a Baden city. You will find the Museum of Media Design ZKM. Our studio has WiFi (fiber optic). As well as a smart TV through Fire TV Stick with Netflix and Co. Our studio offers everything you need for a stay or even just for transit. Within a very short time you can reach magical places like Wissembourg with its wonderful patisseries and chocolatiers. Strasbourg with Münster, museums and observatory. And restaurants Oh là là ;) And of course the popular Tomi Ungerer Museum with a significant collection of 14,000 drawings that Tomi Ungerer gave his hometown. Haguenau with the "Musée Alsacien" (Alsatian Museum) and very interesting also, the "Musée du Bagage", it tells the small story of travel. The "L‘Ancienne Douane", in German "the old customs house" in Haguenau, where customs for the city were once taken, are offered good Alsatian cuisine for their money, because it has now become a brasserie with a daily changing lunch table that is open every day of the week. A good address to satisfy the great hunger. Baden-Baden with spa park, casino and not to forget a city center with special flair. And of course the famous Caracalla Therme! It's also close to the German wine gate. Directly at Wissembourg is the border with Rhineland-Palatinate. There are plenty of original wine festivals waiting for their visit. There are plenty of ways to buy wine, both on the French and on the German side. For example "Roi des Vins" in Wissembourg. Wine lovers know that there are not only the seven wines of Alsace, but also the popular southern Palatinate and Baden wine varieties. You know, these wines are especially spoiled by the sun;) Not to forget, atmospheric Christmas markets in Strasbourg, Wissembourg, Landau, Karlsruhe. Baden-Baden and Speyer have Christmas markets that are open until the first week of January. Guest access Your studio is located in the basement, but is bright and equipped with windows and a private entrance. To get there, go down a few steps. Access is via the entrance area, which you can also see in the photos – from there the path leads directly to your door. Of course, the entire studio is available for your exclusive use.
