The Garden Room

The well-appointed and cosy Garden Room is situated in tranquil surroundings in a 24-hour security eco estate, on the western banks of the Buffelspoort Dam. The room forms part of the main house built in 2007. It has a private entrance from the main stoep, and guests can relax in the private garden, or the entire estate. The beautiful sunrise over the dam is a view to behold every morning, and the regular visits by the free-roaming impala, blesbuck and springbok are always special. The space The Garden Room is decorated with warm colours and thoughtful touches & has: A private entrance; En-suite bathroom with shower; Single bed; Quality linen & fluffy towels; DSTV (satelite) with full bouquet; A dressing table & chair that doubles up as workspace; Small fridge; Coffee/Tea tray; Hair dryer; Heating. Guest access Due to the property being part of an eco estate, there are standard eco estate rules applicable; such as: * verified, secure access * 30km/h speed limit in the estate * no excessive noise (due to free-roaming wildlife) * no fireworks or use of weapons (guns, crossbows, slingshots, etc.) Guests are welcome to relax on the stoep overlooking the eco estate and Buffelspoort Dam. Or to enjoy a cup of coffee at the garden table under the big tree adjacent to the room. Or enjoy the wonder of a wood fire and even grill (braai) a steak in our outdoor grill (braai) area. The kitchen and lounge areas of the main house are not common areas, but we would not mind a little company now and again. And if you want to enjoy some light exercise, you are most welcome to take a walk through the estate. And you would even be able to gain access to the dam where you could walk, sit quietly and watch the bird life, or even take a quick dip in the crystal clear mountain water of the dam.
