The space directly in front of the house may be used only for temporary loading and unloading. ■ House Manual After check-in, please read the house manual placed on the table, which explains the facilities and house rules during your stay. ■ Check-in / Check-out Check-in: 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM (Please contact us in advance if you will arrive after 9:00 PM.) Check-out: 11:00 AM (strict) Cleaning staff will enter after 11:00 AM. ■ Smoking Policy Smoking is strictly prohibited inside and outside the building, including e-cigarettes. The entrance area is also a shared space, so smoking anywhere on the property is not allowed. If you prefer a smoking-friendly accommodation, we recommend our separate private house in Oyano, Kami-Amakusa, where smoking is permitted outdoors. ■ About the House The ceiling on the first floor is slightly low, which may feel uncomfortable for taller guests. This house is a nearly 40-year-old traditional home, so you may notice floor creaking or slight slopes. All rooms on the second floor have new tatami mats, and you may notice the natural scent of igusa (rush grass). Guests sensitive to smells should be aware. ■ For Guests Staying Multiple Nights No towel or sheet replacement during your stay. Please use the washing machine. No cleaning service during the stay. For longer stays, garbage collection days can be arranged upon request. ■ Quiet Hours This is a very quiet residential area. Please keep noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM. In case of complaints due to excessive noise, we may ask you to leave the property. ■ Insects The property is surrounded by sea and mountains, and insects may appear, especially in summer. We take preventive measures, but guests who dislike insects should be aware.
