Mágina Dream La Guardia, a set of 4 rural apartments nestled in the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, in the middle of the mountains and surrounded by a natural environment of singular beauty. They are located on top of San Cristóbal hill, 3 km from La Guardia de Jaén, a perfect place to disconnect and rest. No guests/visitors/parties/events allowed. Sheets/towels/consumables/firewood not included in prices. Variable house deposit upon arrival. Pets: 1 per house (non-dangerous). Ask!! The space The space is located in front of the mountain range dominated by the highest peaks in the province of Jaén. It has four fully equipped townhouses with a kitchen-dining room (they have basic kitchenware, sink, toaster, coffee maker, stove, refrigerator and microwave, attention: oven not available), living room with fireplace, sofas, bedroom, bathroom and heating-air conditioning. The duplexes have six places each. The beds are in a single bedroom located on the first floor of each house (attention: stairs), arranged in three bunk beds respectively. Provide sleeping bags or sheets (90 cm) and towels, although they can be supplied, upon request and payment. Starter consumables included: toilet paper and dishwasher, once exhausted they are at your expense as well as the rest of the products you need for your stay. There is Wi-Fi throughout the house but it is Wimax and it is unstable, we do not guarantee its proper functioning during your stay. Guest access The entire complex is within a single fenced enclosure on a large expanse of land with a community pool and barbecues, parking area, etc. The place has spectacular panoramic views of the valley that opens to the southeast, between mountains, mountain olive groves, rivers and old roads. The silence, tranquility, birdsong and cool nights will make you enjoy unforgettable days. From the grounds, either on foot or by mountain bike, you can start various hiking trails of varying difficulty, time, elevation, etc. or you can simply take a walk at sunset to enjoy the spectacular views of the nature that surrounds us. Other things to note The village, La Guardia de Jaén, is only three km away. The friendliness, sympathy and closeness of its people will make you feel at home. The village has all the essential services: shops, banks, bars, restaurants, pubs, health center, pharmacy, church and magnificent monuments to visit. Its historical heritage ranges from the first human settlements in the Neolithic, through the Ancient Age (Iberian and Roman), the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, to practically the present day. The municipality has 35 cultural heritage sites, three of them officially declared, including the Old Dominican Convent, designed by Andrés de Vandelvira. Extra virgin olive oil is perhaps our most popular, well-known and relevant product. Jaén and its province are today the world's leading producer, both in terms of quality and quantity. Sierra Mágina also has its own designation of origin, which regulates the quality in the production of sierra oils, with extraordinary peculiarities of flavor, smell and color, referring to these undoubtedly, of the highest level of quality. You can purchase such a precious product directly from the oil mills. The best memory: the green gold, soul of our land. In La Guardia de Jaén you can visit important monuments: the Old Convent of the Dominicans, the Old Convent of Santo Domingo (where the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is currently located), the Castle (fortress of considerable dimensions. From its Tower of Homage, you can see an impressive panorama of Sierra Mágina, Sierra Morena and the fields of La Loma). The Plaza de Isabel II, a Renaissance enclave, with its fountain of the five pipes (16th century), the Fountain of Mary Magdalene, etc. Archaeological sites in the area include: Cueva Cabrera (First human settlements, 4,000 years BC).
