Pull on your boots to explore the walking route of the Kintyre Way, which passes nearby, or cycle the exciting new Kintyre 66 route on two wheels. The space Golfers will appreciate the five golf clubs on the peninsula, and there are all kinds of water sports available, from surfing and scuba diving to kayaking and paddle boarding. In Campbeltown, 26 miles away, you can visit any of the three whisky distilleries. Postcard-pretty Tarbert with its working fishing harbour is 12 miles away, while Skipness (14 miles) has a castle, a chapel and a popular seafood shack. After parking at the back of the cottage, which has a driveway with space for up to two cars, step into the utility room, where you can hang up your coats and kick off your boots. In the spacious kitchen/diner, you can cook up tasty treats using local produce, with a dishwasher to help clear up afterwards. Dine by the window, where there are views over the countryside to the sea – you can sit and watch the ferries in the distance coming in from Islay. When you stroll across to the lounge, ready to relax for the evening, you can enjoy similar stunning vistas, or draw the curtains and switch on the Smart TV, enjoy a movie or a box set.
