Holiday home with sauna & jacuzzi

Sit back and relax – in this quiet, stylish accommodation with its own garden, sauna and hot tub and direct access to the hiking trails in the beautiful Harz Mountains. The colorful city of Wernigerode with its cultural and culinary offerings and the beautiful half-timbered houses is within walking distance (about 10 to 15 minutes). Our vacation home was completed in the summer of 2025 and offers every comfort (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, underfloor heating, fireplace, open kitchen/dining area). The space The newly renovated bungalow with underfloor heating in a Scandinavian style is set back on its own garden property and has an open, large living area overlooking the garden, a sofa and cozy fireplace corner, a reading corner with a reading chair and enough books so that you can make yourself really comfortable even in colder temperatures. An open staircase leads to the gallery above the living area, where you will find the modern kitchen, the dining area and another sofa, which is pull-out and can thus become the 5th sleeping space. 2 modern bedrooms with king-size beds, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV offer restful sleep and can be darkened with electronic roller shutters. 2 new bathrooms (one bathroom directly adjacent to the master bedroom, 1 bathroom has a shower (each with a modern rainfall shower), bathtub and washing machine) have every comfort. Board games, toys and books are available for young and old guests. For smaller children, however, please note the wide staircase with 4 steps, which leads to the mezzanine and is not secured with a stair gate. In the garden area, 2 small terraces invite you to have breakfast, barbecue, relax, read, use the sauna and sunbathe, depending on the position of the sun. A barrel sauna and a whirlpool make a stay in our vacation home a very special experience. Our vacation home is intended for people seeking recreation and relaxation. Parties and celebrations are not allowed due to the location in the neighborhood. Guest access The house and garden are reserved exclusively for our guests. Guests access the vacation home via a shared parking space on the premises and an approx. 50 m long path. Other things to note For bookings after 12/20/2025 (day of booking on Airbnb, not travel date), the visitor's tax is already included in the booking price. For bookings before 12/20/2025 (day of booking on Airbnb, not travel time): Please also note that as a host, regardless of the accommodation, we still have to charge a visitor's tax for each guest per day (in cash) and pay it to the city. The fee for adults without discount (e.g. in case of severe damage) is €3.50 per night, children from 6 years pay €1.75. Business travelers, younger children pay nothing. For this, you will receive various discounts on site (coupon booklet) and can use public transport (with the guest card) free of charge. Looking forward to seeing you soon!
