Welcome to Gisèle's place, a charming studio apartment adjoining a farmhouse in the heart of Fontaine-le-Comte. An ideal location: to get to the Châteaux, iconic wedding venues, 15 minutes from the Falaises de Beauvoir, close to the A10 highway, and just a few minutes from Poitiers (tourism, CREPS, SNCF construction site, etc.). Le Mezzo is a pleasant and convenient haven for solo travelers, couples, or business travelers. The space ✨ What you'll love: - Small, cozy living room with a vintage sofa, rattan armchairs, and a coffee table for your leisure time. Cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee when you get home, along with a book! - Fully equipped kitchen: stove, oven, microwave, fridge (note: no freezer), kettle, toaster, dishes, and even the essentials to get your stay off to a good start (household cleaning products, dishwashing liquid, sponge, etc.) - Mezzanine with double bed, accessible via a staircase/ladder. Bed linens are included for your stay. Note: You can’t stand up in it – but for sleeping, it’s great. - A washing machine and laundry detergent will be available to you. - Free parking: If you are arriving by car, you can park along the wall after the gate. ---- 📍 A central location - 10 minutes from downtown Poitiers, 7 minutes from the southern shopping area (Auchan, etc.) - 25-minute drive to Futuroscope via the A10 highway - 5 minutes from Vouneuil-sous-Biard - 20 minutes from Château de Périgny / 7 minutes from Domaine des Piliers ---- Le Mezzo is an apartment in an outbuilding, with lots of charm. Whether you're traveling for work, as a couple, or just passing through the area, you'll feel at home. Gisèle (your host) and I (Alexandra, co-host) will be available to assist you throughout your stay. Check-in is self-service to give you more flexibility, but Gisèle, who lives right next door, will be happy to meet you if the opportunity arises! ---- ✨ What we'd like to tell you right away: - On the Mezzo, press “PAUSE.” The apartment does not have wifi or TV. - As mentioned above, the mezzanine is very suitable for sleeping and has comfortable bedding. You'll just have to “watch your head,” as you can't stand up in there. - We do not allow children for obvious safety reasons related to the mezzanine. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure ;) - The garden opposite the entrance is a private area. A small green area is available at the back of the apartment. This is not a landscaped garden; it is more of a “wild” garden. Sometimes the grass is taller there, and we let Nature take its course 🍀 Guest access Flexible check-in with lockbox. However, we will ask you for your arrival time, even if it is approximate, so that we can arrange for the apartment to be cleaned, which is included in your stay :)
