Set in the heart of the bustling village of Wendover, nestled behind the historic Lime Tree House, this self-contained Annexe is perfect for short or long stays; spacious, well equipped and peaceful, with a private large walled garden. It offers the best of all worlds; a countryside escape surrounded by the stunning Chiltern Hills and Wendover Woods, a central location with an array of Pubs, eateries and shops on the doorstep , plus easy access to London (station 2 mins walk/Marylebone 45 mins). The space The accommodation is arranged as follows:- Front door leads into a hallway with space for coats and shoes. To the left of this hallway is a door to a small laundry room with Washing Machine and Tumble Dryer. A further door from the hall leads to the larger of the bedrooms with a King Size Bed and ensuite bathroom with bath. The door to the right of the hall leads to the large open plan fully equipped kitchen, and living area. There is a central island dining area, and a comfy relaxing space with smart tv, and workstation adjacent to the patio doors leading into the beautiful garden; affording a light and airy spot to watch the birds and squirrels, whilst working 😉. The kitchen is very well equipped with hopefully all you will need for cooking, relaxed dining and drinking. There is a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave and grill, one and a half sink, coffee machine and boiling tap. A door off the living area leads to the second bedroom with a Super King Size Bed, which can be made into two singles if you would prefer, and an ensuite bathroom with walk in shower. There is great clothes storage in both bedrooms. For longer stays we are happy to store suitcases or any other larger items you would like to get out of the way. The beautiful fully enclosed walled garden is for your sole use. It is private, peaceful and dog safe with mature trees, hedges and shrubs. There are garden chairs and side tables perfect for sunny days and balmy evenings. There is on site parking for one car, plus additional free parking nearby. The property is on the upper High Street with all that Wendover has to offer in strolling distance. Longer stays available. The dedicated parking spot is immediately outside the front door and within the Courtyard of Lime Tree House. Other things to note Wendover is full of charm and character with……… 6 Pubs (3 serving food), most are dog friendly Gin and Craft Beer Bar serving food on weekends and great cocktails. Tapas bar - delicious Anglo/Spanish Tapas just a minute away. Deli - a cheese and wine delight also serving eat in or takeaway coffees and light bites. Thai and Turkish restaurants, Fish and Chips shop, cafes and an amazing Chocolaterie. A very well stocked supermarket, including a substantial range of 'Cook' dishes (if you know you know!) and great local produce. Antiques Centre Post Office open 6 days a week and offering banking services Interesting array of shops (a great butchers, 2 florists, an amazing interiors and gift shop, independent book shop with many special events, ladies and gents fashions, a chemist, barbers, nail salon and a beauty parlour …..to name but a few) Excellent market every Thursday, including Fish, Fruit and Veg, Cheese, Breads and Pastries and of course a Pet Stall. …………all on your doorstep.
