Spacious flat with lofty views in Forest of Dean

We are in an excellent location for activity holidays. If you want to go on a canoeing, walking, cycling or swimming holiday we have a very well equipped space to host you. We are only 10 minutes away from the Forest of Dean Cycle Centre, Dean Forest Cycles and Pedalabikeaway. We have a very large basement which can store multiple bikes and canoes securely with charging points and a cleaning station. The space The flat has amazing views of the village of Lydbrook and is open plan, light and airy. It is a 2 bedroomed apartment on one level with access straight from the main road up one flight of stairs. We have a second 2 bedroomed apartment next door with ground floor access should you wish to book accommodation for 4 couples. Sadly we do not have a garden, however the views from one bedroom, the kitchen and the living room are beautiful and tranquil. There are walks into the surrounding woods that lead straight from outside the front door. There are many beautiful walks in and around Lydbrook. One of these circumnavigates our resident Beavers, I beleive they recently had babies and so now there are 6 Beavers. The main living area contains an extendable dinning room table with 6 chairs, a 2 seater sofa, 2 arm chairs, a bean bags and desk with games puzzles and books. We also have a smart TV and WiFi in this area. The two bedrooms both have old fashioned styled metal doublebeds with bedside lamps. Both rooms have fitted wardrobes and vanity table with lamp and seat. An Iron and ironing board are stored in the fitted cupboard outside of the bathroom. There is hairdryer in one of the bedrooms. Huge windows with deep windowsills offer a fantastic view of the Alpine like forested Valley. A perfect window seat to watch the changing seasons. Guest access The whole of the flat is at your disposal. Other things to note We are dog friendly but sadly we do not have a garden. However there are miles and miles of beautiful walks straight from the front door. If you would like basic provisions arranged for your arrival, we will happily put together a hamper of items from our local shop. Just let us know what you would like and we will do our best to source it. We will require you to settle for this service upfront and I will send you an invoice privately. I am also happy to bake cakes for your arrival or if you have a special event during your stay. 2 days notice is required for this service. If you are a keen cold water swimmer then there are opportunities to swim in a private lake in Woolaston, near Lydney, it has the Theka Cafe for homemade cakes and hot drinks. Just message me for details or look for posts "Court Farm Lakes and Cafe" on FB. We also have contacts for canoeing and paddleboarding on the River Wye which is very close to the flat.
