At the foot of Ditchling Beacon, this unique yurt-style cabin sits within South Downs View Glamping, a countryside retreat featuring just our yurt and shepherd's hut with breathtaking views. With a king-size bed, living area, heating and cooling, Wi-Fi, cooking facilities, and private bathroom, it has everything. Ditchling village is just a 5-minute walk away, while Brighton is only 20 minutes away. Ditchling Wild Sauna is also located on site (booked separately). Dogs and horses welcome. The space Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting space thoughtfully designed for comfort and relaxation. Fully insulated and equipped with power, Starlink Wi-Fi (which may occasionally be affected by severe weather), heating, air conditioning and cooking facilities, the yurt has everything you need for a comfortable stay. A king-size bed with quality bedding and soft linens ensures a restful night's sleep, while optional single beds can be added for children, making it ideal for couples, friends or families. The yurt also benefits from a luxury private bathroom, housed in a beautifully converted horse box just a short walk away, complete with a flushing toilet, hot shower and complimentary toiletries. Set within South Downs View Glamping at the foot of the South Downs, the yurt enjoys breathtaking views in every direction. Outside, you'll find a private seating area, BBQ and large fire pit, perfect for relaxing and taking in the spectacular sunsets and star-filled skies. Ditchling Wild Sauna is also located on site and can be booked separately. Bridleways lead directly onto the South Downs, offering fantastic walking, cycling and horse-riding routes. The historic village of Ditchling is just a short walk away and offers a village shop, post office, cafés and welcoming pubs. Brighton's beaches, restaurants, shops and nightlife are only a 25-minute drive away, giving you the best of both countryside and coast. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of the yurt, private outdoor seating area and luxury bathroom (located approximately 50m away) with shower and toilet. The yurt is set within South Downs View Glamping, a small countryside retreat with just one other guest accommodation unit on site. Outside, you'll have your own space to relax, enjoy the sunset, light the fire pit or simply take in the peaceful surroundings and big Sussex skies. Situated within a working horse rehabilitation yard, you'll often see horses, trainers and, depending on the time of year, mares with foals and our Herdwick sheep. An allocated parking space is included. Guests travelling with horses may also be able to book stabling and paddocks by prior arrangement (additional charges apply). The property has direct access to a network of beautiful bridleways leading onto the South Downs, making it ideal for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. Dogs are welcome. Other things to note Ditchling Wild Sauna is available for private hire during your stay for an additional charge of £60. Please allow at least 48 hours' notice so we can have it warmed up and ready for you. Stabling and grazing are available on site for guests travelling with horses. If you would like to bring your horse, please contact us through Airbnb before booking and we will be happy to discuss the options available. Dogs are very welcome. As the yurt is surrounded by sheep and horses, we kindly ask that dogs are kept on a lead within the yard and livestock areas. We are fortunate to be located in a peaceful rural setting where sound carries across the countryside. We therefore ask guests to keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. You're very welcome to relax outside, enjoy the fire pit and take in the spectacular dark skies, stars and occasional meteor shower.
