Explore Cancun, enjoy the beaches and snorkeling, dine out (or in) from your temporary home base in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Bus service 2 blocks away. Two shopping plazas with movie theaters within walking distance. 20 minutes to Hotel Zone and beaches by bus. Suitable for couples of any gender. The space From May 1 to November 1, you'll have the place to yourselves, with full access to the kitchen (fully-equipped, and with a dishwasher because who likes to wash dishes?) and front garden-patio. From November 2 to April 31 each year, the owner and a Mini-Schnauzer will also be in residence... both quiet and friendly. You'll share the kitchen and garden but your elegant bathroom and bedroom will be your own. Guest access WiFi and your own TV with HDMI cable for connecting your computer and watching Netflix. Kitchen, living and dining room, and front patio (exclusive use May 1 to November 1; shared with owner the rest of the year.) During your stay The owner is a writer (bilingual, English and Spanish, with rusty French that she hopes to refresh while in Canada each summer) and spends hours in front of the computer. She won't bother you but can answer questions and even share a coffee in the garden. Other things to note This is the ground floor apartment in a two-storey house. The upstairs apartment is occupied, but the tenant is reliable and quiet. When the owner is out of town, the tenant (Ken) can help you get oriented (in Spanish), and the house manager (Elisa--speaks Spanish and understandable English) is available at all times... she lives around the corner.
