Unusual stay for 2, Nordic bath with a view of the Rhône

New (Sept. 2026): Bathrobes and flip-flops provided for your trips between the shower and the Nordic bath. A detached house just for the two of you, facing the Rhône and the Bugey mountains. In the evening, we light the stove in the Nordic bath, put on a bathrobe, and watch the sun set over the water. Ideal for a romantic weekend getaway, a nature escape, or a stop on the ViaRhôna. To make your stay perfect, welcome packs are offered as an option. The space FOR 2 PERSONS, ONE-STORY, FULLY PRIVATE • Bedroom with queen size bed, bed linen provided, blackout curtains, storage. • Bathroom with walk-in shower, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Towels, bathrobes and flip-flops are provided. • Fitted kitchen: induction cooktop, microwave, fridge and freezer, kettle, Nespresso (coffee provided), toaster, full dishes, table for 2. • Smart TV: Connect your Netflix, Prime, etc. accounts via your phone's connection sharing (no WiFi in the accommodation). • Heating, fans in summer. Workspace. OUTSIDE Terrace with furniture and dining area, barbecue, private garden facing the Rhône, free parking on site (car, motorcycle, trailer), storage for bicycles. NORDIC BATH Wood-fired, unlimited for you throughout the stay. Wood, firelighter and lighters provided; allow 30 to 45 minutes for heating. Built-in bubbles and lighting. Mandatory shower before each bath. THE CORNER Massignieu-de-Rives is a quiet village in Bugey, on the banks of the Rhône. Belley (shops, restaurants, Saturday market) 12 min away, Yenne 10 min away, Chanaz and its canal 15 min away, Lake Bourget and the Aix-les-Bains thermal baths 40 min away, Annecy 55 min away, Lyon 1 hour 30 minutes away. The ViaRhôna passes by just around the corner. Les Morainières, a 3-starred Michelin restaurant, is 20 minutes away. Car is essential. A welcome booklet with our best recommendations (activities, restaurants, Bugey specialties) awaits you on site. Guest access Self check-in from 5 PM using a secure key box, check-out before 11 AM. The access instructions (code and location of the box) are sent to you on the day of your arrival, as soon as the accommodation is clean and ready to welcome you. The house, garden, terrace and Nordic bath are all yours for the entire stay. Only the storage room (white door on the right side of the house) is private. A detailed welcome booklet awaits you on site, and we remain reachable by messaging for any questions. Other things to note • Non-smoking accommodation, no parties, maximum 2 guests. • The Nordic bath is wood-fired: getting it started is part of the experience (30 to 45 min to heat up, instructions in the booklet and on-site).
