Domaine de Chantageasse - Gîte L'Hirondelle 6 people

Welcome to Domaine de Chantageasse, an authentic 17th century Charentaise estate near the small village of Asnières la Giraud. A unique place with a beautiful courtyard, gardens, swimming pool (unheated, open May to September), playgrounds, 6 cottages and 4 guest rooms. Surrounded by vineyards and agricultural fields but with quick access to the main road to Saint Jean d'Angély, the nearest town for shopping, the market and restaurants. The space Gîte L'Hirondelle, its terrace next to the large terrace of the guest rooms, is the first gîte in the courtyard/garden of the estate. This is a very spacious cottage with lots of old details. A large living room with sofa and armchairs, a spacious and bright kitchen with dining table and laundry room with toilet. The smart TV in your gîte can be used for screen sharing of your device (smartphone etc.) with your own streaming service, there are now no TV channels. The kitchen is fully equipped: - dishwasher - American fridge - 5 burner hob (gas) - oven and microwave - Philips Senseo kettle and coffee maker Upstairs are 2 very spacious bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and a bunk bed. The bathroom is accessible from both bedrooms (with lock on both doors), equipped with bathtub, walk-in shower, sink and toilet. Some windows in the bedrooms and kitchen are equipped with mosquito nets. The Charentaise stone terrace in front of L'Hirondelle is equipped with garden table, chairs and parasol. Facilities such as BBQ, sun loungers, children's bikes are in the common areas. Guest access Gîte L'Hirondelle and the terrace in front of the gîte are completely at your sole disposal. The rest of the estate are common areas. Other things to note - It is possible to book breakfast (in the big house, buffet) for €8.50 per person. Booking no later than 5 p.m. - Our bakery service allows you to order bread and pastries for the next day. Booking no later than 5 p.m. - Next to the pool is 'Ze Frigo', a self-service with (non-)alcoholic drinks, some snacks, ice cream and frozen pizzas. - There is a shared washing machine for €4.50 per wash, including laundry. - Bath towels are not included but can be rented on site.
