A Mandora

We are a family accommodation, a happy people's beach house, refuge of good energy, peace, friendships and good stories. Ideal for people looking for outdoor adventures, eco-tourism, new experiences and good people. All rooms have a private bathroom, smart TV, air conditioning and Starlink internet. We serve a family breakfast from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the dining room. Cleaning is carried out on request only and it is necessary to leave the key with us. The space Mandora is located in the social center of Enseada de Araçatiba, offering easy access to a variety of restaurants, bars, pizzerias and small markets. To get to the place, you need to climb about 50 meters from the center of the beach. Yes, we have stairs to the property! The house has a total of 600m2 of built area, divided into the bedroom area and dining room where breakfast is served. We do not provide a kitchen in the rooms or a shared kitchen, as the dining room is intended for breakfast, and in the evening we serve snacks such as pizzas, breads, drinks and others. Guest access Arrival at the beach must be at Cais do Viana and this information must be passed on to the Flexboat sailor. We are close to the boarding and disembarking dock, with access via a path with stairs. Guests have access to the room or suite they have booked and our living space. Our space is located near the largest beach in the village, Praia Grande de Araçatiba, which is just a 5-minute walk away. This beach is known for its bars and dining spaces, which often prioritize local cuisine, offering a variety of fish and seafood. Other things to note Our space is located in a charming fishing village, situated on an island accessible only by boat and flexboats. Electricity on the island is quite precarious, and there may be interruptions during the stay. We have a generator, which is activated at night, as the fuel is purchased in Angra dos Reis and is not easily accessible. **We do not recommend that people in the home office come to the Island.** The island is rich in fauna and flora, providing encounters with animals and creatures rarely seen in urban areas. In recent years, the village has expanded significantly, but it still lacks some common businesses in cities, such as pharmacies, bakeries, cafes and large markets. There is a health clinic available, but it is important to remember that we are on an island. For food, there are excellent options of restaurants, pizzerias, hamburgers and bars on the beach. The markets are small and have limited options, so for extended stays, we recommend bringing specific supplies from Angra dos Reis. The lodging is close to the boarding and disembarking dock, with access via stairs. If there are mobility limitations, please contact us for more information about access. We do not offer a shared kitchen or in-room kitchen. Breakfast includes breads, cake, milk, coffee, ham, cheeses, jellies, butter, cream cheese and freshly made eggs. For dietary restrictions, please let us know in advance. Credit and debit cards are accepted in most places, but it is advisable to have cash. Speedboat tours can be scheduled during the stay, with daily departures at 10:00 a.m. from the Viana pier or the main pier. The amounts range from R$150.00 to R$190.00 per person, depending on the itinerary.
