house nestled in the sea
Description
Casa Gesùpappina mia is an oasis of privacy and beauty located at the end of the hamlet of Canneto, just above the former Spiagge Bianche, in the northeastern part of the island of Lipari. Built at the end of the 1800s on the cliff of Ghiozzo and completely renovated, it is a detached house equipped with all modern comforts (WiFi – air conditioning – satellite TV), while retaining the peculiarities of the typical Aeolian houses, once inhabited by fishermen and pumice workers. The space The house, built on two levels and with all the windows overlooking the sea, consists of a large living/bedroom with an internal staircase, which allows you to reach the bathroom below and the typical Aeolian terrace on which an independent kitchen opens. The terrace, cool and well ventilated, more than on the sea, is IN THE SEA, and will allow you to dive your gaze and lose yourself in the contemplation of a 180-degree blue horizon, in front of and all around you. To the north, you will admire the turquoise pumice seabed of Campo Bianco and the islands of Panarea and Stromboli. To the south stands, green and majestic, the promontory of Monte Rosa, with the ancient church of the Holy Cross. To the east, beyond the breathtaking orange of the sun at dawn and the infinite pink of the sky at sunset, the profiles of Sicily and Calabria. Guest access Casa "Gesùpappina mia" is a house with independent access and all spaces are for your exclusive use; you can reach it with a comfortable staircase (100 steps) that leads from the Provincial Road 180 (where you can park) to the White Beaches below. It can also be reached from the village of Canneto, in less than 10 minutes, via the typical ups and downs of an ancient and characteristic mule track. The beaches below, considered among the most beautiful of all the Aeolian Islands for the crystal clear sea, the overhanging rocks and the lush vegetation, can be reached in a minute, walking along a public road. The beaches are equipped, equipped with a bar/restaurant and connected to the Canneto pier by boat service (bookable at the moment and always active in summer), which allows you to easily reach the village in a few minutes and vice versa.
