Cow Drove Cottage is a spacious one bedroom barn conversion, equipped and presented to a very high standard. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and conveniently located to visit many attractions including the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Longleat Safari Park, Stourhead and Bath. Set in a delightful, small private garden with a covered outside seating/dining area, the cottage offers light and airy open plan living space with lovely views over the garden and paddocks. The space This is a multigenerational family property that's been carefully restored over the years. The old farmhouse and outbuildings have been renovated with love to keep their original charm while making them feel warm and livable. The former dairy has been converted into two beautiful holiday cottages that highlight the original structure while offering all the comfort and style of a modern stay. Guest access We are not difficult to find, but if you are using a Sat Nav, please be aware that not all systems bring you directly to our property! Google maps and What3words are the most accurate and bring you to the door. The driveway is marked The Courtyard and Park Farm. If however, you have any problems finding Park Farm please contact us directly and we will be happy to help. Entrance to the property is via an electric gate, so upon arrival we ask guests to call. We can then issue you with a tag so that you are then free to come and go as you please during your stay. Here are some local spots we love—ideal for lunch, dinner, drinks or picking up something delicious. The Grosvenor Arms, Hindon – Just around the corner, this beautifully restored coaching inn is full of character with open fires, cosy corners, and a seasonal pub menu. On Friday evenings, they host Pizza Night with Nole, a local favourite serving wood-fired sourdough pizzas—perfect for a relaxed start to the weekend with a pint or glass of wine in the bar or garden. The Lamb, Hindon – Another village favourite, The Lamb is a welcoming, traditional pub serving hearty, well-prepared classics in a warm and friendly setting. Great for casual evening meals and proper pub atmosphere. The Beckford Arms, Fonthill Gifford – One of the most popular pubs in the area, just a few minutes' drive away. Think log fires, polished wood floors and excellent food made with seasonal local ingredients. Booking is recommended, especially at weekends. The Riverbarn, Fonthill Bishop – A hidden gem in a peaceful riverside setting. Ideal for a light lunch or coffee stop during a countryside outing. The garden seating is perfect on sunny days. The Grosvenor Arms, Shaftesbury – A stylish spot in the heart of Shaftesbury. Whether you're after lunch, a drink at the bar or a full dinner, the food is consistently good and the atmosphere welcoming and relaxed. Pythouse Kitchen Garden, Tisbury – Set within a stunning walled garden, this is a magical place to eat. The food is fresh and garden-led, with much of the produce grown on site. Great for a leisurely lunch or dinner in truly picturesque surroundings. Compton McRae, Semley – A beautifully curated deli and café offering artisan cheeses, charcuterie, sourdough, coffee and treats to take away or enjoy on-site. Perfect for stocking up on foodie essentials or picking up a picnic.
