Our lovingly furnished log cabin is located near Lake Diemelsee - ideal for hiking, swimming, biking or simply breathing deeply. In winter, ski resorts like Willingen are close by. The space The log cabin made for comfort Our rAuszeit is a lovingly furnished log cabin in Scandinavian style – perfect for families, groups of friends or couples who want to combine nature and comfort. 🛏️ Sleeps up to 6 guests The house features three bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with two single beds. On the open mezzanine, you'll find two additional box-spring beds – ideal for kids or friends. 🍳 Modern kitchen with everything you need Stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster – and of course plenty of dishes, pots and glasses for long dinners at the table. On warm summer nights, fire up the high-quality outdoor grill and enjoy your BBQ under the stars. 🛋️ Cozy living area Plenty of comfy seating and warm lighting invite you to relax, read, play or simply enjoy great conversations. 🌲 Terrace & garden Furnished with outdoor seating, a hammock, grill and your own private wood-fired hot tub – perfect for unwinding under the open sky. 🐾 Dogs are very welcome! The garden is fully fenced so your furry friends can roam safely. And all around the cabin there’s plenty of space for walks, sniffs and tail-wagging adventures. Guest access Two private parking spaces are available right in front of the property. A short staircase leads up to the cabin. Check-in is possible from 3 PM. The key is stored in a lockbox – you’ll receive the code via email before your arrival. Right outside the door, you’ll find scenic hiking and biking trails through forests, meadows and along the water. The Diemelsteig and Uplandsteig are among the most popular hiking routes in the area. In summer, the lake and its peaceful coves invite you to swim, go stand-up paddling, rent a boat – or simply relax in the sun. In the colder months, the area turns into a winter paradise: the ski resorts of Willingen and Winterberg are just a short drive away and offer everything from skiing and sledding to après-ski – perfect for snow lovers of all kinds. And even off the slopes and lakeshore, there’s no shortage of fun: countless hiking and biking routes, a summer toboggan run and the Skywalk in Willingen offer excitement for all ages. rAuszeit is the perfect base for your escape into the Sauerland.
