Old windmill located on one of the hills overlooking AUCH, one of the great tourist sites of Occitanie, with panoramic views and an exceptional location in the heart of nature, ideal for unwinding. In the heart of a wooded and flowered park that you enjoy, near major roads and shops, a comfortable cottage, well equipped for a memorable stay. It is up to you to build your itinerary in this rich Gascon heritage and this atypical cottage. The space This cottage is a tower on three levels accessed by an original stone staircase. On the ground floor, the dining room/kitchen with everything you need to cook and serve meals, with two doors leading outside; on the first floor, a shower room with a toilet and a living room with a TV/DVD player and a sofa bed that converts into a 140 cm bed, plus a library area; and on the third floor, a very nice, spacious, round bedroom with two windows opening onto the surrounding countryside and beautiful views of the Pyrenees. The thick stone walls keep it cool in summer, and the elevated location provides pleasant natural ventilation on very hot days. An outdoor barbecue for grilling delicious food. Green spaces welcome you with all the furniture you need to eat, read, or stretch out as you wish, with beautiful shade. You might see does there in the evening, moving from one wood to another. For sightseeing, you will be spoilt for choice because there are beautiful sites, towns, and villages to visit in the GERS, many festive and artistic events, and local activities aimed at tourists: night market, farm markets, and beautiful walks along the GERS. Swimming spots in the lakes or at the municipal swimming pool. For your shopping, the shopping center is 3 minutes from the gite and the city center is 10 minutes away. It's an hour from Toulouse, 2 hours from Lourdes, 1 hour 30 minutes from the ocean... A whole program within your reach, according to your desires. Don't hesitate; my guests all leave satisfied with their stay. Guest access The accommodation is fully reserved for you, as is the outdoor space. I personally take care of the welcome, and a key box is available, allowing you to leave at the time of your choice and even to arrive outside the check-in times. Cold drinks await you in the refrigerator, as well as a welcome basket. Other things to note Pets are allowed free of charge, but you must clean up their droppings around the Moulin. They must bring their own equipment for eating, drinking, and sleeping. Access to the bed and the sofa bed must be denied to them, or protections must be provided. Please note that the park is not fenced!
