Situated in the heart of the Essex countryside, yet by train, Liverpool Street to South Woodham Ferrers is 47 mins & then 10 mins in a cab). Distant views over the Blackwater Estuary & local views over the New Hall Wine Estate, the property is on the edge of the village of Purleigh, about 10 minutes’ walk from an historic pub (The Bell) & shop, where you can pick up supplies. The location is also just next to the 45-mile St Peter’s Way footpath and there is a bus link with the town of Maldon. The space Set in 10 acres of rolling countryside and horse paddocks, Hilltop Shepherd's hut's features include: • Hot tub • 18’ x 8’ dimensions of Shepherd's Hut • Mains electric, water and drainage • Dining table (Wall mounted / folding) with comfy chairs • Shower room / WC • Kitchenette with countertop electric oven and 2 ring hob, kettle, toaster and fridge with icebox / freezer section • Wood burner • Shower room • Wood burner and electric heating • Electric hot water storage tank • Double bed • outside furniture and BBQ / firepit (bag of wood provided) • Pull out foam mattress stored under the double bed, for a 3rd person, but given the compact nature of the accommodation, best suited for younger guests. Guest access The owner will meet and greet to show you around and how everything works. Our shepherd's hut is approximately 250 metres from the parking area, along a grass track, part of which is up an incline. So a reasonable level of mobility and suitable footwear is required. Other things to note Strictly no smoking or vaping inside the property. No music louder than a normal conversation voice at any time.
