Tucked away on a quiet unsealed road in the lush Sunshine Coast Hinterland, you’re just a short drive from Montville’s charming village cafés, galleries, and scenic attractions. The space Montville Retreat is a split level timber home. You will step through the front door into a light-filled open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Located on this level are 1 bedroom (queen bed) and 1 bedroom (2 x single beds) both with built in robes and a bathroom with claw foot bath and overhead shower. Downstairs you will find 2 identical bedrooms both with double beds and built-in robes and a bathroom with shower. This level also provides a space for reading, playing games or generally relaxing and opens out onto a private grassed area looking towards the coast. Montville Retreat is set on 7 acres of mostly untouched subtropical forest. You are welcome to explore the property and bushland, taking care to supervise small children. There are a number of grassed areas for entertaining and relaxing, fruit trees and a spring fed creek. Guest access When you book your stay at Montville Retreat, you have access to the entire house and surrounding land. Other things to note There are a few unique features to our property. We are off-grid which means we do not have access to mains power. We have a 5kW solar system that provides plenty of power for daily living however we cannot offer the ability to charge electric vehicles. An automatic back-up generator will provide additional power in cloudy weather conditions. All wastewater is processed through an Eco-Safe sand filtration system, so we thank you for using only the cleaning materials supplied. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. Our road is unsealed and is kept in good condition, however if your car is low profile, please drive slowly.
