Cosy Off Grid Yurt Retreat

Unplug in our off-grid yurt with stunning views of Glastonbury Tor. Bask by the firepit, gaze at star-filled skies, and wake to birdsong. Nestled on a small campsite with shared hot showers, toilets, and fresh water. Inside, rustic charm meets cozy warmth with a wood stove. Just minutes from mystical Glastonbury yet a peaceful world apart. Slow down, breathe deep, and let this soulful retreat restore your spirit. The space This is an 18ft yurt nestled in a stunning off grid location. Access to shared facilities on the campsite, including hot showers, flushable toilets, washing up area. The yurt has a small cooking area, 2 ring gas stove with pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc. There is an outside fire pit, seating and bbq grill. Local supermarkets are in shepton Mallet and Wells. The local village award winning pub The George serves home cooked food and has guest ales and a beautiful beer garden. Visit the smallest city in the Uk Wells and its stunning Cathedral, or pop over to the magical town of Glastonbury, the chalice Well Gardens or have a hike up the Tor. We are nestled on the edge of the Mendip Hills, with stunning walks and views at Cheddar Gorge and Caves and Beacon Batch nearby. If you are looking to unplug and reconnect back into a slower rhythm then this dwelling is the perfect place. There is no electricity on this site but we provide enough power via solar panels to charge your phones if needed- via USB charging stations. There is no access to plug sockets to charge phones. Guest access When you arrive, drive up the drive towards two big barns. Follow the track. You will see a barn on your right. This houses the showers, toilets and washing up area. Follow the track past this barn down into the field. The yurt is at the end of this track. You can park next to the yurt for convenience. Other things to note Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times. Please use the dog blankets if your dog likes to lay on the sofa or bed.
