Set at the end of a narrow country lane with Bubbly Hot Tub enjoying Beautiful views over the Manifold Valley this Gorgeous little Barn is Perfect for a Piggledy escape to enjoy some Romance or Adventure or a bit of Both There is so much to see and do in the area..walking, biking, sight seeing, Alton Towers, Wildlife park, local village pub..or just relax and enjoy all that Piggledy offers, it's only Dinky but has everything you need for a FABULOUS Breakaway away in the Beautiful Peak District. The space IMPORTANT...Please note that Piggledy is available to Non Smoking Adults Only and has a very strict No Smoking Policy throughout (this includes all outside areas too)...Thank you IMPORTANT...The Acess Lane to Piggledy Cross Barn is VERY NARROW...less than 7 feet wide in parts...so please take this into account before booking and arrive in an appropriate vehicle...cars, 4x4s and small type vans etc are no problem...but it is very narrow...Once here you will be situated at the end of a private little lane surrounded by fields and overlooking the Beautiful Manifold Valley... Piggledy is a lovingly converted Barn...only Dinky but extremely well equipped and you will have your own private hot tub and summer/pool house and there's even an extra loo outside! Inside Piggledy is upside down with the kitchen and dining and living area upstairs...and the open plan style shower room is accessed downstairs via a half sized glass door and a windy oak staircase...from the shower room...the bedroom is accessed via a sliding Barn Door. Piggledy dates back hundres of years and has stood and served the many generations of the family who lived here...and now stands to provide a Wonderfully Dinky Holiday Getaway in the Beautiful Peak District National Park. For years we used Piggledy to house our rescue animals...we had sheep and hens and ponies and ducks and goats...and they all lived happily in and around Piggledy Cross Barn...but nowadays Piggledy is all about relaxation and fun and romance and adventure...and it has been Beautifully converted to a very high standard and is just waiting for you to come and enjoy all that is on offer... There's a full sized kitchen with oven and hob and grill...a microwave...a couple of coffee machines...a dishwasher...we also provide the following...tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, ketchup, hp sauce, fresh milk and a bottle of sparking water...also a few other little treats! In the lounge area...there are comfy rock and swivel Italian Leather chairs...a "frame" tv... a built in rayburn electric fire...and an oak dining bar with stools... Downstairs you will immediately be in the shower room with electric shower...sink and toilet...from here access to the bedroom is via a sliding oak barn door...The double bed (standard size double) Is by the Original Bed Company and is iron framed and adorned with 100% cotton bedding...there are drawers beneath the bed for storage...a wardrobe with hangers...side units...a chest of drawers and a wall hung tv...access out onto the lane beside the car parking space is through the stable door... Outside there are 3 small patio areas which are all on different levels via one or three stone steps...there is a sparkly summer/pool house with table and chairs...hot tub robes and towels and slippettes will be found here together with chair and lounger cushions... there's an outside toilet...a bistro set on the lower patio...a small dining set on the rear terrace and finally the Hot Tub patio with sun loungers and drinks tables...all with a Gorgeous View of the surrounding countryside and the Manifold Valley beyond... Guest access You will have Piggledy and it's Patios and Views and Summerhouse all to yourselves... We pop over everyday to dip the Hot Tub and check it's ph levels etc...but apart from that...it's all yours for the duration of your stay...
