Double bedroom on ground floor
Description
Tucked away in the oldest part of Wiveliscombe, the accommodation has its own entrance and comprises a newly appointed double room on the ground floor. There are french-doors on to the sunny, south-facing cottage garden with outdoor seating. There is an en-suite shower-room, place to wash-up, fridge and provision for tea, coffee and toast making facilities. The room and street are very peaceful and quiet. There is wi-fi but no television. Parking available for arrival and departure. The space A single storey, cottage style home, with wooden windows and traditional charm, which has recently been extended and renovated. The cottage overlooks the hidden-away old English style garden, ideal for quiet, retreat type holidays, where you can enjoy a peaceful place to read or paint. It is much appreciated if indoor shoes/slippers are worn inside. We encourage recycling and facilities are provided for your use. More information will be given on your arrival. Guest access With arrangement, you are welcome to use my kitchen if you would like to warm up some food, but I am vegetarian, so in the main kitchen I would respectfully ask that any food excludes meat and fish. There is one small lay by for off street parking outside the property, which you are welcome to use on arrival and departure. There is a free car park within a three minute walk. The street where the property is situated, is in the oldest area of Wiveliscombe, which is also a conservation area, but please note, the street is very narrow. Other things to note Wiveliscombe is a wonderful town to visit with a fantastic outdoor lido, local shops and two pubs and tap room. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and within easy reach of Exmoor, including Dunster, Porlock and Lynton. There is a steam railway and a visit to Watchet with the Arts centre and harbour is well worth an outing. There are several environmental community projects including an apple juicing collective.
