De Ark Guest House Tudor Room 4, 5 - Family Room

The luxurious Tudor style room with its high poster double bed and percale linen is on the shaded side of the building, has a shaded patio and a private entrance. The private ablution area with a shower and a Victorian-style basin also have complimentary amenities. This luxury double bedroom links with the adjacent luxury twin bedroom with an inter leading door to create a family room for 4 people. Each room has it's own onsuite bathroom and TV. Breakfast is included. The space This house was built in 1856 by the Voortrekkers as a parsonage for the minister. It has a rich history of well known occupants. During the Anglo-Boer War, it was annexed by the English and used as an officer's mess, where they held General Viljoen captive. Guest access Guests have access to our dining room, pub, veranda, garden and pool. Dinner is served, but has to be booked before 2 pm. Other things to note Our cozy onsite English Pub is just the place to relax before or after dinner or a sun downer in the gazebo amongst the roses in our beautiful garden.
