Caravan in the castle park
Caravan in the castle park
Description
The caravan and teepee in the castle park invite you to relax on your journey through the beauties of western Bohemia. Suitable for cyclists, hikers or other pilgrims. Simple facilities - a bed for 3 people in a caravan, a wood stove, a fireplace in a teepee. Toilet, sink, drinking water and shared kitchen are available in the castle building. For more guests, we can prepare a simple overnight stay in a teepee or build additional tents. The space Simple facility - an airport for up to 3 people in a caravan, wood stove, sitting by the fireplace in a teepee. Bedding and linen are provided. There is no electricity - there are solar and battery lights available. Toilet, sink, drinking water and shared kitchen (fridge, microwave, kettle, stove, basic dishes) are available in the castle building. There it is also possible to recharge a mobile phone, etc. Next to the caravan is a simple tourist shower for undemanding travelers. The Maringotka (military staff trailer) originally served as a private rescue service station on Mount Havran in the Czech Forest. Last year, we built a wooden hut on Havran and moved the caravan to the park. The teepee in the park has been standing for many years, serving as a base for a forest kindergarten, a clubhouse and, together with the caravan, as a base for natural camping. We would like to share the joy of this amazing place with others, so we offer it for use at a symbolic price to other nature lovers. It is possible to camp here all year round, including the winter months. We've tried it with kids. The teepee already has many years of experience in this area. It has been in place for 10 years, it is overgrown with lichen and moss, but it is still fully functional and does not leak. However, at the end of this summer it will get a "new jacket" (it is already being sewn). The sidewalls of the teepee are rolled up in the photos so that you can see into it. In this arrangement, it serves more as a shelter for sitting. If the sidewalls are lowered and fixed, the teepee serves as a tent for sleeping and in cold weather it can be heated to a pleasant temperature inside. Guest access Guests can use the part of the castle park in which the caravan and the teepee are located. Furthermore, there are shared areas on the ground floor of the castle - a toilet and a kitchen. Other things to note We're happy to host and share a piece of our home with guests. We don't see hosting as a business, but rather as the joy of sharing a beautiful space and environment. We do our best to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their stay. It is also important for us to feel at home during the guests' stay with us. That's why we ask guests to write us some information about themselves when they send us a request. So that we can better imagine you as a unique being and not just as an anonymous person. Please answer the following questions and send them along with your booking request: What is your name? Where are you from? How old are you? What is your profession and what do you enjoy? Why are you traveling? Who is traveling with you? We know this is very personal information and we appreciate your willingness to share it with us. It's important to us. In return, we will share the same information about us with you so that you can imagine who will be hosting you. My name is Michaela, I'm 47 years old. I live in the village of Kořen with my husband Tomáš and 4 children from 5 to 23 years old. We are gradually repairing our house, which is steeped in history. It is an old hunting lodge that was built in the second half of the 19th century. Around it is a castle park and a small church. We love the nature and wilderness that's around here. We work in the field of humanitarian and social activities. We help people with illness, disability or in need. We have 2 big dogs - German shepherds and a Maine raccoon cat. I like art - I paint and do arts and crafts, my husband likes to take pictures and do outdoor sports. We travel a lot with the whole family. Thank you and we look forward to meeting you!
