Pirate: an off-grid house on wheels and tranquility by the forest
Description
Pirát is a house on wheels in a quiet meadow by the forest in southern Bohemia, opposite the Malá Kuš pond. Inside, you'll find sleeping accommodations upstairs, the option of an extra bed downstairs, a wood-fired stove, a kitchenette, and a shower. Outside, there is an awning, seating, deck chairs, and a portable grill. There are also two adult bikes and one children's bike available. It's a simple place for staying outdoors, having a fire, and going on trips around the area. The space Pirát operates off-grid. Electricity is generated by solar panels and stored in batteries, so please use it sparingly, especially in cloudy weather. The water is in a 50-liter tank in the bathroom and, with normal economical use, should be enough for the entire stay. Hot water is only available in the shower and is provided by a gas boiler. The toilet is a dry composting toilet. Guest access Check-in is self-service, without a reception. The keys are stored in a security box next to the door. You'll receive the access code before check-in. The car can be parked right next to the house on wheels. There is a driveway leading to Pirát; turn right onto the meadow before the trailer. Please do not use other entrances and do not enter the surrounding private properties. Other things to note The water comes from a 50-liter tank, so please use it sparingly and check its level regularly. When it runs out, it can be refilled from the IBC container on wheels next to the house. Before your stay, you need to plug the pump into an outlet, and unplug it again when you leave. The water is suitable for normal use; we recommend bringing bottled water for direct drinking.
