Safety and practicality are guaranteed by railings on the ground floor and mosquito nets on all windows, to enjoy the summer breeze in peace. Calci is a perfect base for hiking or biking along the paths that cross the Pisan hills and Monte Serra, in the heart of the Valgraziosa. Within walking distance are the Certosa di Pisa and the Natural History Museum, one of the largest in Italy. Horseback riding, suitable for all ages, can also be arranged nearby. The village of Calci, within walking distance, offers everything you need: supermarkets, bakeries, artisanal ice cream parlors, bars, and typical restaurants. Nearby you can visit local oil mills and wineries, ideal for tasting Tuscan wine and oil. The house is located 8 and 14 km (10–20 minutes by car) from Cisanello Hospital and Pisa International Airport, respectively, making it convenient even for those arriving from afar.
