Stunning farmhouse near the sea
Stunning farmhouse near the sea
Description
A luxurious retreat in a beautifully restored Welsh farmhouse. Enjoy views across the valley while lying back on an outdoor sofa or enjoying a drink in the hot tub. Fire up the BBQ, stack the firepit and turn on the fairy lights for a magical al fresco evening. Alternatively, sink into a sofa in front of the log burner or take on a friend in a game of pool or darts. With spectacular beaches 10 minutes away, the house is perfectly situated to enjoy Pembrokeshire's stunning coast. The space Ground Floor The entrance porch has plenty of space for coats, walking boots, surfboards and anything else you need. Your eye will be drawn to the unique tiled floor extending into a welcoming hallway. The kitchen is excellently equipped, including a Nespresso machine, soup maker, Nutribullet and double oven. A utility room, with the original farmhouse slate floor, contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. On the shelves you’ll find equipment for the beach; Fatboy Lamzacs; rugs; seats; games and a Heston Blumenthal portable BBQ for a sunset cook-up by the sea. Off the utility room is a downstairs loo. In the sitting room the seating includes two squishy sofas in which you can snuggle down in front of the log burner and watch Sky, Netflix or Apple TV or play a board game from our plentiful supply. The games room is off the living room; a cool zone adorned with surf posters and a row of cinema seats. Enjoy a game of pool or darts or work out using the weights and TRX. Half-Landing and Top Floor A wide staircase leads to the half-landing and upper floor. The bathroom on the half landing is equipped with a gorgeous zinc tub and a rain shower. Upstairs there are three bedrooms which enjoy views across the valley. Two spacious bedrooms at each end of the landing have exposed beams and ample cupboard space. The beds are immensely comfortable with deep mattresses and luxurious feather toppers. Each super king bed in the two larger rooms can be separated into two single beds. In one of the larger bedrooms there is a sleeping platform which could accommodate an adult or two children. The middle bedroom, while being the smallest, is very characterful with an exposed wall of original stone and a unique hanging rail made of driftwood; a double bed allows one or two guests to stay in this room. Garden In the large, L-shaped garden there is plenty of space in which to kick a ball or lounge in a deckchair. Enjoy the view from a raised deck with two sofas, armchairs, a fire pit and BBQ or soak your cares away in our six-seater hot tub. Guest access The whole house is available for rent. Access is via a lockbox and keys. The code will be released in a private message.
