The 55 m² of living space is generously distributed across 1 bedroom (either two single beds, each measuring 90 x 190 cm, or one double bed measuring 180 x 190 cm), one bathroom, and the living/dining area with an open, fully equipped kitchen. High sloping ceilings and stylish furnishings combining antiques and modern elements create an authentic and cozy atmosphere. The terrace, accessible from the kitchen, is bathed in the first rays of sunshine at breakfast time and is also very sheltered from the wind. About Saint André les Alpes and Haute-Provence There isn't really much to say about Saint André, because visitors to the area usually know exactly why they come here. Whether it's for paragliding/hang gliding, mountain biking, hiking, fishing, swimming in the lake, or simply to enjoy the stunning natural surroundings. What they all have in common is that they prefer to pursue their passions away from the crowds. And yet, in Saint André, you don't have to miss out on anything: the village is lively, there are nice cafés and restaurants, a large supermarket, and two weekly markets with excellent regional products, from vegetables and fruit to lamb, eggs, and, last but not least, great cheese! And afterwards, you can go for a pastis at the bar on the village square... we may be a bit up in the mountains here, but it's still Haute Provence! Information for paragliders: the house is only 3 minutes away and within sight of the landing field of the local club and the Aerogliss paragliding school. From there, a shuttle bus (French: “navette”) runs to the launch sites in the morning and evening. The southeast launch site can also be seen from the property.
