Century Home Near Oberlin College: Queen Bed
Located in the heart of historic Oberlin, Ohio, our century home is just a few minutes from downtown and within walking distance of attractions, shopping, restaurants, and Oberlin College and Conservatory. We have a four-bedroom home built in 1881 located directly across the street from the arboretum. The guest room is furnished with a queen bed, chest with mirror, refrigerator, and desk. Juices and water are in the in-room fridge and granola bars/snacks are available too. Your private full bathroom is just across the hall. Towels and linens are provided. Guests have access to the guest room and the full bath across the hall. We are open to as much or as little interaction as you want. We will be around, so feel free to ask about any local events or attractions that interest you. Our quiet residential neighborhood is just a few minutes walk from downtown. Head to the Allen Art Museum and check out the latest exhibits or take a trip to the Oberlin Heritage Center and learn about the Oberlin-Wellington Rescue, the incident that some believe touched off the Civil War. Interested in architecture? We have everything from Italianate Victorian to Frank Lloyd Wright, right on our street. In addition to the Wright house, our street is home to the historic Westwood Cemetery. In spite of its small size, Oberlin boasts a variety of restaurants serving everything from Italian to Middle Eastern to Chinese to Mexican to Asian Fusion, as well as good old American fare like burgers at the Feve. All of these things are just a short walk away. Free off-street parking is available in the driveway. Street parking is available April through October. Anywhere in the city is easily accessible by walking.
