A special place, in the middle of nature, on a popular cycling and boating route – ideal for those who love the outdoors with hedgehogs, an ermine now and then, blooming rhododendrons & apple trees (lots of apples in late summer), salamanders, natterjack toads, tranquility, water and history. Guest access The house is decorated with antique furniture, which adds to the charm and character of the place. We kindly ask you to be extra careful with this. The house itself also has the necessary years on the counter; for those who love an authentic, somewhat older house with a story. Something is also regularly improved, so the roof has recently been insulated. Kitchen, corridor, living room, bath- and bedroom (& the main garden of course) are accessible. The bed cities, now closet space, are also accessible to tenants with, among other things, vacuum cleaner, crystal work, bowls or other things you can use. There is 1 bedroom with a new double bed (160×200 cm). Bed linen and towels are provided and included in the price. There is a fountain with cold water. The kitchen is equipped with: induction cooktop, combi-oven, kettle, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Cooking, baking, making wood fire, it's all possible. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. nb patience with the hot water is rewarded, turning the tap completely open leads to almost continuous hot water. Some closets and spaces are locked. In rain periods it can be muddy, around the house. Recommended to bring rain boots. The garden is not level; there are pits in various places, and not unimportantly: next to the parking space, there is sometimes a large hole. Other things to note The house is heated by gas heaters and wood burning stove. There is no TV, but wifi – please note: the range is limited. An old rowing boat is ready outside (with bucket to hoist if needed). There is an outdoor table with 2 chairs and a lounger, tablecloth & cushions, etc., in and next to the closet under the stairs. On walking or rowing you will find catering and a local brewery. Note: navigating can be tricky – Google Maps and Waze don't always work well here.
