Cottage in Essen

Cozy and cute cottage in the woods, where you go back-to-basic and experience nature without wifi. Here you can really relax, without endless notifications. Connect with nature, the environment and with yourself! You experience the silence, a luxury in our hectic society. Inside you are cozy with beautiful clay walls, old tile floor and quiet earth tones. You warm yourself with a wood stove. In the evening, you can read a book, listen quietly to your favorite music, or watch the stars. The space The cottage consists of a living room, dining room with open kitchen, two bedrooms (1 double bed and 1 bunk bed), a bathroom and a separate toilet. There is a large, wooded garden (3000m²!) with lots of privacy. There are countless hiking and cycling routes in the immediate area. Kalmthoutse Heide Border Park is just 15 km away. Duvets, pillows and duvet covers are included. You do have to cover the bed yourself upon arrival and pick up upon departure! Bath towels, kitchen towel and dishcloth are also provided. Wood and (1 box) lighters are also provided. Fully equipped kitchen with fridge (incl. freezer compartment), induction cooking fire, oven/microwave, coffee maker (Senseo type) and kettle. Beautiful bathroom with natural stone sink and walk-in shower. Final cleaning is included. For longer stays, we kindly ask you to clean in between. Cleaning equipment is provided. With an official recognition from Toerisme Vlaanderen, you can enjoy a reliable, safe and high-quality vacation stay here, fully in accordance with the applicable regulations. Guest access You have the entire domain (cottage + forest garden) at your disposal. Other things to note The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people (there is 1 double bed and 1 bunk bed). There is no WiFi but there is mobile coverage and 4G. To be heated with a wood stove (note: there is no central heating!). At night it can get chilly, bring warm pajamas and slippers.
