Welcome to our quaint miners cottage located just minutes from the North York Moors National Park. Just 3.8 miles from Saltburn-by-the-sea, 2.5 miles from Guisborough, & 15 miles from Whitby Abbey. There is an electric shower. Hot water in kitchen is provided by an electric heater tank which is in a cupboard under sink. This needs to be switched to ‘E’ economy mode which is good for washing hands etc. For washing up in needs to be set at ‘H’ mode which is very hot and needs to be mixed with cold to fill the sink. Then it takes 3-4 minutes to reheat the water. So if you require a bath the immersion heater would have to be switched on but kindly request that this is not left on permanently. It would take 3 hours or so to heat the water in the tank.
