The Hayloft

Conveniently located within the pretty village of Uplowman, this brand new apartment offers a relaxing and stylish space with excellent views across the countryside. Guests benefit from a beautiful summer abode or a cosy winter retreat at “The Hayloft”. The space The Hayloft is a brand new stylish apartment with modern and traditional features entwined. The apartment has an open plan style layout, with two sofas and a chaise lounge. The property is spacious and bright with beautiful views especially over the pond and local farmland. The main room features a log burner for you to cosy up around after your day of adventure! The apartment offers two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom includes a bath with separate shower and has been tastefully done. Outside guests benefit from a beautiful balcony, relax and enjoy the sunset or even the sunrise whilst listening to the stream trickling by! Below the property there is an enclosed private courtyard overlooking a pond, this space can be used for dogs but please pick up after your furry companions. Please be aware that the hosts also have dogs and sheep grazing, so please keep your dog on a lead if needed. Hosts live onsite. Things you can do/visit: Many beautiful beaches on the South and North coast. Exmoor National Park for walking or a pub for lunch. Take a tour around Dunster Castle. Wimbleball Lake for walking or hire a paddle board or canoe. National Trust at Knighthayes and killerton Tiverton Golf Club The local horse drawn barge in Tiverton along the Grand Western Canal. Hairdryer Iron and ironing board. Remember you will be staying on a working family farm, so there will be tractors driving past, cockerels crowing in the morning, sheep baaing and horses neighing! Guest access As shown in the photos access to the property is by an oak staircase with a glass balcony. The hosts welcome families, however younger children will need adult supervision whilst on the balcony area. Other things to note The accommodation is accessed via an oak staircase leading up to a balcony which has the most incredible view, however it is to be noted that due to its height children are to be accompanied at all times. Access to the property is through the hosts driveway, please be vigilant of dogs and children and shut gates behind you. Thank you. Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside or outside the property.
