Located in the East Sussex village of Northiam, close to the beautiful town of Rye, The Carriage House is a stylishly decorated studio, attached to an early 18th century village house. With spacious high ceilings, a newly fitted kitchen, luxury super king bed and private outdoor space, all very close to the wonderful Great Dixter gardens. Only a 15-30 minute drive from many National Trust properties, The Carriage House is the perfect base from which to explore the stunning ‘garden of England’! The space The Carriage House was once a grand reception room, converted into a self contained studio in 2019. Recently renovated, the interior designed space provides a comfortable and spacious sitting room, open plan kitchen / dining area, and peaceful bedroom with luxurious super king bed, with crisp cotton bedding and fluffy feather and down pillows and duvet. There is an en suite shower with large walk in shower enclosure, power shower, luxury cotton towels, and towelling robes. Guest access Guests have their own private access to The Carriage House garden and entrance. Other things to note We’re happy to accommodate bookings with one well behaved dog, we just ask that dogs are not allowed on any furniture.
